I bought a pair. They are pretty good. Much much brighter than stock and mine are aimed about right, it appears, so they aren't blinding people...yet.

I don't necessarily agree that you have to upgrade the harness to get good lighting. For the price, LED headlights are readily available and have great results versus the stock halogen bulb. These are what I run and I have no complaints with them on my 99. They are 100% plug and play with the stock harness. Just pull the old lights out and plug the new ones in. I purchased https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01M09C4FQ on feb 8th, amazon states. These are diffferent ones than the LXLights you posted, different model. I find that these project light pretty well down the road, much much better than the stock high beams did. I think the lows on this model were rated at like 2800LMS.
