Antennae aren't part of the M.2 card product unless explicitly specified. The major reason being, that those are needed very rarely, as they're usually drop-in purchases or replacements for cases where those already exist.

The DeskMini A300W (note the W) already includes a wi-fi kit, which contains the M.2 card, the cable and the external antennae. You can get a glimpse of that on the product page. Sadly this model isn't available in all areas, no such luck where I live.

But fear not, the chassis of the normal 300 is identical. It has three potential outputs for SMA antenna connectors and you only have to punch out the perforated metal bits before you screw on the antennae to the cable.

It's a bit more complicated to purchase things separately, but it's not that big a deal. There are three things to pay attention to:

  1. The M.2 wi-fi card has a connector for antennae, which on an M.2 2230 is very likely to be MHF4.
  2. The cable has to fit the M.2 wi-fi connectors on the one side and fit the case holes on the other side, which is an RP-SMA connector going by the picture on the A300 product page.
  3. The SMA connector standard is thankfully very common for antennae, so it's simple to get a pair of antennae that will fit.

In the end you can either get all three parts separately or buy a combination of things in a kit. You'll find many cable+antenna kits such as this one, which only leaves the M.2 card.

Someone else in this thread mentioned that Intel AX200 has compatibility issues with the DeskMini A300. I can't confirm that as I don't use external wi-fi on my device, but there are good alternatives in older models.

The Intel 9260 is the one to get imo, it has Bluetooth 5, while most other cards will have Bluetooth 4. Also it won't take up a bunch of space in your case and look ugly as shit like a normal PCIe card lol. Make sure you dont get the 9560, it's essentially the same card as the 9260, but it's only compatible with certain 8th and 9th gen Intel CPU's and motherboards. As for the antenna, I found this

I found it by searching "wifi antenna ngff" on Amazon.

Also btw if you have a hard time finding the Intel 9260 for sale, the killer wireless-AC 1550 is the exact same card, just rebranded and with killer drivers. I'm pretty sure you can just use Intel's drivers instead of killers, and I would recommend doing so.
