Okay hear me out, try this brand if you hate them you really do honestly hate pork rinds. My favorite Is bbq.

I adapted this recipe. Partially because I am allergic to dairy products (which sucks on keto but whatever) and partially because I wanted to add my own flair.

According to MFP, it is 672 calories (with 8 oz chicken), 41.5g fat, 67.5g protein, 8g total carbs, and 1g net carbs.

Batter

  1. Crack an egg in a bowl, and scramble it up
  2. Crush up about 1/2-3/4 ounces of pork rinds in a ziplock bag. (I used these ones)
  3. Mix in about 1/4 tablespoon of Himalayan pink salt.
  4. Shake it up and pour it into a bowl!

    Fries

  5. Pre-heat oven to 375.
  6. Remove the skin from the avocado. I only used half an avocado.
  7. Slice it long ways.
  8. Dip it in the egg.
  9. Dip it in the batter.
  10. (Optional) Dip it in the egg and batter a second time.
  11. Place on a sheet and place in the oven.
  12. Keep in the oven at 375 for 15 minutes.
  13. Remove from the oven.
  14. Let cool, then serve!

    Chicken

  15. Slice it up. At least slice it along the middle so it cooks quicker. I thought strips would be fun (they were).
  16. Dip it in the egg.
  17. Dip it in the batter.
  18. (Optional) Dip it in the egg and batter a second time.
  19. Melt some butter on a frying pan.
  20. Place the chicken on the frying pan.
  21. Let it cook. You want to let it cook a good bit. If you smell something like the start of it burning, it's time to flip it.
  22. Once you smell it burning again on the new side, put the heat down to low.
  23. Flip the chicken one more time. Depending on how well cooked you like your chicken, leave it on for 2-3 more minutes on each side.
  24. Serve!

    Sriracha Mayo

  25. Take 1 tablespoon of Mayo.
  26. Take 1/2 tablespoon of Sriracha (I used this).
  27. Mix well.
