This a nifty little panel I used for a month long hike. Its only 3.5oz if u take the caribiners it comes with off. I kept it on the top of my pack, even through rain and it kept working just fine. I charged a 3300mah battery(2.7oz) about 40-100% each day depending on the amount of sun. I didn't bring or use a power outlet once and was able to charge my GPS and phone every night from just the panel. Testing it at home I got about .3 amp in cloudy weather and 0.5-0.9 amp in direct sun. I was even able to get a small trickle charge with it set up in my tent, with the rainfly on!
