I use these and I highly recommend them for someone just starting with cloth pads. They've very absorptive, stain-resistant, and comfortable. The stain-resistant fabric is quite smooth and might tend to slide down your underwear, but the pads will come with little adhesive strips to keep them in place. I haven't used the adhesive strips. I find that I don't need them if my underwear is tight enough.
The downside for me is that with the dark color, I don't get to see the amount of flow. Also, true for all pads anyway, the potential for nighttime mishaps.
