Doesn't exist. The only Haswell parts out yet are the quad-core and ultrabook parts, and those jack up the price considerably. Until we see more i3/i5 U models released, I doubt you'll see any laptops under $1K that only have SSD to storage, and even once they're released, I still don't think there will be any that do. SSDs are a premium part, laptop manufacturers know this and that's why you only see SSD only storage above $1K, the MBA being the cheapest of which currently.

You're better off finding a system you want at around the $700-800 price point and adding your own SSD aftermarket if SSD only storage is a must. The cheapest Haswell laptops released with a Haswell proc are the Acer Aspire M5, Toshiba P55t (both Best Buy exclusives), and the Acer Aspire E1-572-6870.

Hi Keto!

If you're looking for max performance, the Lenovo G510 has just about the best specs of anything you'll find at your budget. It has an i5 4200M, 4GB ram, 1TB HDD, 1366x768 15.6" screen. It's 1.35" thick and 5.75 pounds though, which you may find too bulky.

The Acer E1-572 is a bit lighter and slimmer at 5.18 pounds and 1" thick. It has an i5 4200U processor, 4GB ram, 1TB HDD and a 15.6" 1366x768 screen.

This is basically what I am running. I have 6 GB version instead of 4GB. I have to turn off all the graphic settings and it does commonly lag, but it is 100% playable.

I have been looking at that laptop alongside the Acer Aspire E1-572-6870. How do you think they compare?

heyy, i really want a game to waste time with, and i remember i used to love playing Dynasty Warriors 4 and 5 back in the day. could my computer run this alright at low settings? i don't really care about having high graphics, i just don't want to drop $50 on steam if my comp can't even run it.

this is my computer essentially, although i have 6gb RAM and 1tb HD.

I own this laptop, I'd like to know how much I could resell it for. I have owned it since I bought it a few years ago. I have added another 4GB of RAM to it as well over that period of time.
