Spend $30 more for a faster 960gb nvme.

I'd like to note a better deal for $/GB, though: The SX 8200 is pretty much an identical drive for a great price- $150/TB. This is the Amazon listing.
I'd like to note this technical info from AnandTech. These two drives use the same controller and similar NAND. They're effectively the same drive, just the SX8200 is much denser for your money.

I still dont know why its so cheap for a nvme tlc 1tb ssd. The pro version cost way more
What about the 960GB SX8200 on Amazon.ca for $160? It's SLC, but I'm not sure if that's better or worse compared to the Samsung drive.
edit: Under further inspection, it looks like the SLC part is just marketing. In the specifications tab, it states "2nd Generation 64-layer 3D TLC" Not sure if this is still worse or better than the samsung drive.
Adata SX8200 960GB - $160 no tax free shipping...that’s equal to $141.60 + 13%HST
i am not familair with nvme pricing, but remember seeing about double the price of sata until recently
you should probably confirm if amazon's 'sold by adata' listings are without tax to see if the final cost is lower

Which one would be better, this or the XPG SX8200 960GB 3D NAND NVMe? Granted the SX8200 is also $160?
Any benefit whatsoever to pay 100 bucks more compared to ADATA drive?

This should be it.

Looks good, theres a couple of things I would recommend changing
Extra thermal paste is completely irrelevant unless you plan on using it for another build. The thermal paste pre-applied will be just fine and the MX4 will not have a noticable improvement over the stock paste
This psu is the same in performance, the same price, full modular and you don't have to deal with a MIR
ADATA SX8200 is a much better NVME drive and is currently $159 on amazon with no tax
This ram is slightly cheaper for basically the exact same stuff. If you prefer the appearance of your original ones better, keep those
The non Pro version is 160 dollars.

It is 960 GB, so I would suspect that it is 1TB with over-provisioning.

Could someone take a look at these two Adata NVMe SSDs and explain how they're different and why they're priced differently?
