It worked great. Took it down to 140 feet and worked just fine.
For 4 or 5 hours of battery life, you will definitely have to use an external usb battery pack and usb charge cable plugging into the camera the whole time. You’ll have to get a big micro sd card as well to capture all that footage even if it is at 720p.
A knock off gopro like the akaso brave 4 camera might be a good option because it is water proof. But you will have to buy a case that lets you plug in that external usb power supply, which will be default make it not water proof after all.

With knock off gopro accessories and mounts you could probably get a back pack mount or something too so it could just be on your shoulder as you commute.
