Ha! it's an older chair, so the closest thing I can find is this Alera Elusion Series Mesh Mid-Back Swivel/Tilt Chair, Black: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B003G4OJK4/ref=dp_cerb_2

Not an Aeron, but I highly recommend this one below. It's really well built, and has more levers than a jet cockpit. I've purchased 6 of them for different people / different offices and they all love them. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003G4OJK4

And yeah South Coast Auction is great too. Sometime hit or miss though. Check back

Huge fan of this chair below. It was the only chair my dad would buy for the employees at his former workplace. He recommended I buy one so I did. I used to have it at home but I took it to work because our chairs were trash. Thinking about buying another for home. I sit in it for 8-11 hours a day and I’m always comfortable.

I recently bought this and have been pleased with it so far.

The Alera Elusion is also recommended pretty frequently.

My first recommendation would be to search Craigslist. I purchased awesome, super expensive chairs on the cheap...Humanscale Freedom and Steelcase Leap for $100 or less each! The big brands you should look for are Herman Miller, Steelcase, Humanscale, and Knoll. There are probably other great brands and chairs, but that should be a good starting point.

If you don't find anything, Amazon actually has a few chairs that are <$200 and are pretty good. The AmazonBasics chair (https://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss_2?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=chair) has good reviews. I personally have the Alera Elusion (http://www.amazon.com/Alera-Elusion-Series-Mid-Back-Multifunction/dp/B003G4OJK4?ie=UTF8&psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_search_detailpage), which also has good reviews. It's not as fancy as the Humanscale or Steelcase, but they're definitely comfortable and gets the job done.

I bought one of these last year, and I'm happy with it. I opted not to get the armrests that swivel out and kind of wish I did. The seat and back don't unlock for a full backward tilt, so I can't do that lean back with a controller thing like i could with other chairs.

If you're able, check with your local office supply stores that aren't major chains, though those aren't terrible (best buy, office max etc). I found a place that does their own work alongside being an office supply, so they're using all the products they're showcasing. I couldn't afford most of their high end stuff, but ended up talking with practically everyone there and trying out a bunch of neat sit-stand desks.

Anyway, I learned the salesman as a dealer can customize some parts of the order instead of the usual pret-a-portier orders. Some manufacturers have this on their own sites, but you tend to pay a higher premium. Or the salesman's commission in my case, but I don't mind since I went for advice on a chair and got plenty. (well this ended up being a longer post than I meant)

I'll never buy a different chair again.

I got this one a few months ago, and it's been kicking ass so far.

I bought one of these office chairs a few months ago, and for the price, it's fantastic.

Office chairs are NOT cheap. I did a lot of research before buying this chair.

Super adjustable like a Hermal Miller, although the quality of the materials and fit and finish won't be nearly as high. The plastics all feel like pretty good industrial plastics, however.

Sure it's not made for flight simming, but it's adjustable enough to work for most any task. Only problem is having a wheeled chair and using pedals, which can be a task.

This isn't specifically a PC question, but I was wondering if anyone knows of a decent chair for both PC gaming and console gaming(where you sit a little further back and want to lean backwards a little).

I've been looking at this one after reading some recommendations, but my only problem with it is there isn't any kind of headrest part. I'm not looking for anything fancy, but just something reliable(my current chair has leather peeling off and slowly sinks by itself, forcing me to constantly pull the lever and raise it).

They get a lot of their stuff from IKEA. Check there.

Also this is similar and this is a well regarded chair: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B003G4OJK4

This doesn't answer your question, but my work buys us new chairs every year. I've been through a ton of chairs.

I got https://www.amazon.com/Alera-ALEEL42ME10B-Elusion-Mid-Back-Multifunction/dp/B003G4OJK4 three years ago and refuse to give it up.

My advice is to order this and don't look back.
