Also, it's region free so you should have no issues. It's missing North By Northwest, but even buying this set and North By Northwest at full price would save you money.

Yeah, I'd still go with the Hitchcock set. £56 is cheaper than Amazon marketplace sellers have ever sold it for so it's a good deal. You might be able to beat the price on eBay if you're lucky.

The UK version is one sale today for $28.50 shipped to the US. I suggest jumping on it.

Slightly off topic, but Notorious isn't on the nicely priced Hitchcock Masterpiece Collection, $44 for 14 films. It is on the more expensive 3-film set with Rebecca and Spellbound, $50 for 3 films, used.

Anyone know why that 3-film set is so pricy?

Even if you get the standard version without all the bells and whistles, the artwork is a lot better on the region free version than the Region 1 version, even if it does come out a week later. I want this a lot.

This one is 5 bucks more and comes with a lot more movies. It doesn’t have NXNW so to get that plus two more grab this as well

Then get this set as a companion, it has 3 important films missing from the set

That should give you a good chunk of his films! You’ll just need to pick up To Catch a Thief.

If you want his earlier stuff, look into Criterion Kino’s releases (theyre pricier tho)

Not included in that set is North By Northwest which looks glorious.

If someone complains that a Blu-Ray is 'grainy' you can go ahead and dismiss their opinion and tell them to go watch the Predator Ultimate Hunter edition.
