The official prequel novel Alita: Battle Angel - Iron City. It adds a lot of backstory to the characters. We get to know the "crew" consisting of Hugo, Tanji, and Koyomi. It's a shame that Koyomi was underutilized in the film. Hoping that she's back in a sequel.
