Thinking about picking up these Allen Edmonds Strand Cap-Toe Oxfords: are they formal enough to be worn in a work setting? Recently got out of the Army and don't know dick about what is and isn't appropriate - going to be interning at a law firm fairly soon.
Amazon is notorious for listing the same color under multiple names. This is often done because third party sellers incorrectly list the colors (perhaps deliberately so that people will find their products more easily). For example, look at the listing for the Strand -- you have Dk Brown Burnished Calf and Dark Brown Burnished as separate listings. They are the same shoe, same color.
In any event, just look at the "Walnut" listing and you will see that the toe is burnished. I own this boot, and I can confidently say that the picture of the "Walnut" looks identical to the pair of boots that I got from AE (who describes them as "Walnut Burnished Calf").
