You can get a regular mic stand with boom, swap the boom for a ‘boom holder’ and get a lightweight boom on it. I’ll put some links in for what I got.

The boom is hollow and has spaces to accommodate a wire running through it. It’s very light, so shouldn’t be a problem for the mic stand, especially if you weigh down the base.
My plan C may involve this https://www.amazon.com/AmazonBasics-3-5mm-Female-Stereo-Audio/dp/B01CNAV2YW/ref=sr_1_14?ie=UTF8&qid=1505229466&sr=8-14&keywords=1%2F8+audio+cable.
Sounds like any 1/8in headphone extender cable will do, no?

I can't say I know what the "best" option is, but I have a RODE VideoMic that works really well on a budget. That, coupled with a boom pole and I was set. I also don't have a separate audio recording device, so I bought a long cable to run between my camera and the mic attached to the boom pole. All said this setup cost me about $215.

An extension cable should work just fine.
I bought one of these haedsets and use this with it. You may also need to get an extension cable for the light as the cable length is really meant to be on a cubicle. I bought this one. Works like a charm.
