Chest mount.
I am using a cheap, Amazon chest mount and a Go Pro Hero 7. I was using a Go Pro Session before (gave it to my brother), so the footage is mixed on my channel. The Hero 7 was on sale due to the 8 announcement. While I recommend the camera, there are a lot of options out there.
Until I upgraded to a GoPro for other reasons, I used one of the Amazon knock offs like this with a chin strap mount like this since I didn't like the idea of leaving something permanent mounted on my helmet. If you don't care about that, then using something like the sticky mounts or Sugru on your helmet is probably more stable.
Other options you might want to consider are using a chest mount to make the image a lot more stable. You might also want to check out a backpack strap mount for convenience.
Just a cheap Amazon chest mount. This was my first time with it. Jury is still out on if I'll stick with it or not.

Does anyone have any experience with the off-brand chest mounts compared to the GoPro Chesty? Is the official one worth the extra $25 over the Amazon one?
