I'll add to this: spend the $30 for a vertical mouse to save your arm/shoulder/back. The standard office mouse is terrible for posture.

I usually use gaming mice so am used to nice smoothness and what not and this still physically feels good. The clicking takes a bit more pressure than I would prefer but I've been using it for nearly two weeks. It's surprisingly good and feels great. I got one for work too. It's my new 24/7 mouse. All pain was gone very very shortly after switching.

$1500 is not really the budget for a 144Hz build. You can get a PC that plays those games and you can also get a 144Hz display, but it won't be a PC that is suited for 144 FPS in new games. But in older games it will work, so maybe that is okay for you.

They aren't necessarily great for shooters, but for slower games they work well, and the second one especially is great as soon as you are used to it.

There are also ergonomic keyboard. With mechanical keyboards you have to consider that the keys can be harder to press (for the Redragon one that is actually unlikely). That can be good or it can be bad, depending on the user.

Stretch! Take a 5 minute break every couple hours of work to stretch. Make sure to get your neck, shoulders, chest/armpit area, wrists/forearms, and hands

Working on your grip/forearm strength will make a huge difference as well

If there's one brand I trust a lot for cables, dongles, chargers and charging banks, it's Anker. Their customer service is phenomenal.

Does anyone have any experience with ergonomic/vertical mouse? I have pain in my right wrist for a couple of months now and it hurts a little when I hold a mouse in my hand. The only one I ever tried was this microsoft one but I was hoping to find something a little less expensive (the mouse alone is ~€40). I've found this one (and a few more that look identical) for half the price but I've never tried anything like it (there are multiple brands with basically identical looking mice with slightly different specs). Reviews overall seem fine.

Note that I want to use it at work, not for gaming.

Klar. Sowas hier. oder das hier. Habe beide im Einsatz. Haben beide Vor- und Nachteile; ich komme mit beiden gut zurecht.

Not sure about the penguin mouses, but my mom used this kind for a long time because she had bad wrists and loved it. Dunno how well it would work for gaming though.
