  1 bluetooth rx/tx unit will be set to RX and paired with the apple tv (or if your TV has an audio out or headphone out you might be able to skip this guy and go straight into the Y jack). The other two bluetooth rx/tx units will be set to TX and attached to the Y adapter. Each one will be paired with one pair of bluetooth headphones.
  
  Now bluetooth sound quality isn't the best, but it's not bad and for what you lose in quality, you gain in experience. Listening to TV via bluetooth headphones is a game changer: no more pausing the TV when somebody has to go to the bathroom or make tea, get something upstairs, etc. You can walk the fuck around and still hear the TV almost no matter what you're doing. It's a multitasker's dream.

Anker makes some really good blutooth ear buds. They are 26 bucks on amazon. They sound incredible for the price. They are really comfortable and they stay in when I'm running on the treadmill. Battery lasts about 2 to 3 gym sessions for me. About 6 hrs. I bought mine on sale for 22 bucks. You can't go wrong with these.

I have both. No perceptible difference in sound quality, but I find the "wings" on the anker ones more comfortable. Also the anker ones are way cheaper.

In a pinch it's not awful, but I prefer wireless in general so I keep a pair of bluetooth headphones [specifically these guys] in my Surface sleeve's pocket.

These aren't too bad. Just bought them last week on sale. At thier regular price it's still a decent purchase.

I've used these for almost a year now. They seem to fit my ears better than the Jaybird X2 I also own. Was getting some wicked interference when cutting the grass with the Bluetooth set, so I got the Anker's. Turns out the electrical system of our tractor is incredibly noisy, and the Anker's are only slightly better than the Jaybirds

If you can squeeze an extra 6 dollars, the Anker Soundbuds sound great for their price given that they're wireless.

Between your two options, neither are good. There isn't any great wireless IEMs under 20 dollars. If you're willing to go wired, completely different story.

Oh I absolutely agree! I think as long as there's a charging port that can be used for audio then that's still going to exist but you can't argue that wireless hasn't been up and coming for ages. The prices have just dropped so much over the last couple of years that it's ridiculous. I disagree to an extent with your comment on them being expensive. I have a pair of these that I got on sale for under $20. They sound pretty great! Sure, they aren't comparable to my more expensive wired headphones but for the price they are excellent for workouts.

As the prices come down I think they will become more and more prevalent. Better bluetooth standards and APTx are bridging the gap more and more for regular listeners (audiophiles certainly aren't going to be impressed) and I believe that the new standard that's going into production next year is supposed to be even better for music.

Charging them is definitely still a pain in the ass though.

I use these and love them I get about 8 hours out of them and they sound good. They aren't amazing sound or anything but they are damn good for podcasts and phone calls.

For around/under $30, I think the Anker SoundBuds might be good to consider. No personal experience with them, but I've read a few reviews and they seem good for the price (IPX4, mic, Bluetooth 4.0, 8h battery life).

I've had good experience using a set of Bluetooth headphones - this pair, in fact - and they're good for casual listening.

I occasionally need to tie my phone into our theatre sound system, via a DI from my headphone jack. I'd heard stories about the fragility of the one in the ze551ml, so i limit it's use by going Bluetooth when I can.

I've seen SounPeats recommended a couple times on this thread, but I don't really like them. I've had two pairs already, but both broke for different reasons.

If you were willing to shell out an extra $20-$26 (they go on sale often), I highly recommend Anker SoundBuds. They are smaller then the soundspeats, have an 8 hour battery life, and also awesome customer service. I mentioned in my amazon review that the sound quality would get finicky if the battery was low, and they send me a new pair free of charge. Now I have two!

I just wanted to get a second opinion on a pair of headphones recommended by the assistant, the Anker SoundBuds Wireless Headphones.

I'm looking for a decent bluetooth pair of earbuds to use at work, since I'm lifting things often cords are a pain and I've killed a few pairs of cheap headphones already.

I am using the smallest gel or ear tip available on the klipsch wired headphones and they still do not stay seated in my canal. the get is approx 7-8mm wide at its narrowest point (they are oval shaped) I just need something that will fit and not fall out of my ear when working out.

I don't have them, but the brand is pretty good overall, so I would trust this to be a relatively good headphone

Hi y'all.

Looking for a nice cheap pair of BT headphones, to replace my KZ-ATEs which are falling apart. Not too obsessed about sound quality, but as long as it has the same amount of detail as any "good" budget IEM, it's good enough for me.

(Side note: Tried my old turtle beach PX3s after almost a year of HD 598s. 0/10)

Anyway, I'm deciding between Anker SoundBuds and Anker SoundBuds Sport IE20.

I'm leaning towards the IE20, but reviews are pretty sketchy for these earbuds, so any help would be appreciated.

Anker SoundBuds In-Ear Sport Earbuds, they are inexpensive and awful. I'd recommend no one ever buy them ever again.

Edit: I thought I'd add some details as to why I don't like them for clarification and posterity sake.

Pros:

The blue tooth works fine. The earbuds paired up with my iPhone without issue. The microphone works well and according to my friends and co-workers does a good job of blocking out the background noise. The sound is ok for the price but I think if the earbuds fit better that sound would be better. I've been using them for about two months 5-6 times a week for 45-60 minutes per session. I have found that I only need to charge them once a week. The battery seems to live up to the 6 hour promise.

Cons:

The earbuds do not fit my ears well. Even with the largest buds and plastic ear hook piece the earbuds work their way out of my ears during the slightest of activity and I find myself constantly adjusting them while lifting weights, running, cycling, or basically anything that involves movement. I've tried every combination of earbud sizes and ear hooks pieces that it shipped with it to no avail. It is incredibly annoying and makes for a frustrating time during exercise. I would go so far as to call them gains goblins.

Summary:

I've been using these for nearly two months, about an hour at a time 5-6 days a week. The need to constantly adjust the earbuds is so impactful I couldn't recommend them.

Never used these as I have more expensive earbuds but I hear people talk about these 2 cheap bluetooth earbuds all the time.

I am not an audiophile of any sorts I'm the kind of person that thinks Apple's stock headphones they give with their phones are good enough. I purchase the $10 skull candy smokin buds at TJ Maxx and think they're fine. All I am looking for is some budget bluetooth in-ear headphones for running and working out battery life does not need to be long looking for something with a minimum of around 4 hours of battery life.

Any help would be greatly appreciated I've been googling and looking at the subreddit didn't dig too deep, but deep enough to where it seems everyone is recommending the JayBird X2's or the JayBird Freedom and those are a bit out of budget for myself. I currently own the Skullcandy Hesh 2. I got this on Black Friday 2015 for about $30. I loved and will continue using them. So, I'll wont have the need to buy new headphones. There's nothing wrong with the Beats you picked, especially if you're looking for wireless headphones. However, in terms of sound quality, Beats in general are overpriced for what you get. I've tried quite a few over the last several years. The Anker SoundBuds are the first ones that I actually liked enough to purchase again when a replacement was needed. Cheap, bluetooth, and stays in the ear really well, without being uncomfortable. They are a bit too big to keep in the ear you are laying on however, so I just use them for the up ear, and switch if I decide to roll over.

I've no experience with bluetooth ear/headphones but all my charging needs has been met by Anker products and I own their $40 cube speaker. Everything is of high quality. They also have great customer support and 18 month warranty on all their products, so no worries there.

These Anker earbuds are very well-regarded for the price.

I owned an HTC One, so I get that their better. However, when I think about the times I use the speakers, I hardly see not having them as a deal breaker.

I'm looking for some bluetooth earbuds for running/working out under $50. The recommended Anker Soundbuds have apparently had a huge wave of bad reviews talking about falling apart, not working, duds arriving, etc. recently.

I'll check them out! Are they these? imo cheap/poorly implemented noise canceling is worse than passive attenuating by a good seal.

This might be slightly more headphone oriented but I'm looking at getting a blue-tooth audio RX/TX so I can listen to TV/Music late at night without bothering my housemate through our thin shitty walls.

The only experience I have with blue-tooth audio is with the Sony MW600 that uses Bluetooth 3.0. I've found it has a very noticeable impact on audio quality even through Samsungs Oem headphones and my cars stock system.

Was bluetooth 4.0, 4.1, 4.2 a big jump in audio quality?

4.0 RX/TX for $24 Lacks Pass through charging so not extremely interested but still an option

4.1 RX/TX for $34 This supports pass through charging so I'm leaning towards this.

My Galaxy S7 has bluetooth 4.2 and my desktop has 4.0.

As I understand it 4.2 adds a big jump in transfer speeds but I'd imagine that my mostly 320kbps library with a few flacs, Spotify premium and the stereo output from my TV is is well under the transfer speed of even 4.0.

I'm not listening through super high end gear. Wired will be the cheap yet awesome Beteran KZ ATE w/ Mic and an inexpensive pair of in-ear bluetooth headphones like these or a also cheap but good over ear set. I need to do a little more research into bluetooth headphones but right now I'm focused on which bluetooth TX/RX to buy. Leaning towards in-ears since their more portable.

I just got them a couple of weeks ago and I'm happy with them. Audio wise, they're better than the factory headphones but maybe not the best thing out there, however for the price (I think I paid $24 CAD for mine) you can't go wrong.

The only complaint I've had (and I've had this with every BT headphones I've tried) is if you live in a large city, you're going to get some connection skips. If you don't you shouldn't have much of an issue,

I wear the Anker SoundBuds working out pretty regularly. I have a couple workout playlists synced to my watch, and am prepared to use the crap out of them once Spotty comes out.
