Reiterate in the letter that both of you are grown adults and that you don't have to be friends socially but that you both have to live here and should act civil as mature adults should.

In the letter you should reiterate that dogs do bark and that you will try and minimize the loudness of the barking but to all so single out that your dog is not as loud as other noises from other sources, environmental, ambient, other noises.

Dogs bark I definitely understand that, I love dogs, I have two.

My Dogs are loved tremendously and all of their needs are met, mentally, physically and emotionally but they still bark.
