The CS-10em, and other plug in power microphones, operate on plug in power voltages. Plug in power is 2-9V, though typically 5V. This requires devices that output that specific power via 1/8" connections. Things like the Zoom H6 and PCM D100/M10 all have "plug-in power" that outputs on the 1/8" inputs to power such microphones.

If you want to use a device like the Marantz, which has no plug in power options, you have to somehow convert the 48V phantom power down to the correct voltages. This device does it, but they are out of stock.

All that is to say, it's easiest and best to use devices with on board plug-in power when possible, but there are options :)

Heya - For stepdown from 48v we make a Power Converter for XLR to 3.5mm. Rode also makes one (as far as I know we're the only two) - just to show I am not 100% shilling here :)
