I have this: http://amzn.com/B00Q873I3K

It'll charge iPad and iPhone 6/6s at full speed (12W) or you can charge two devices simultaneously but more slowly. The plugs fold up. Weighs 34 grams.

It needs to be a USB-C cable. Just make sure you check out the Benson Leung USB-C approved chart before you buy any new ones. A lot of USB-C cables out there might cause harm to your phone.

If it helps I picked up this cable and this charger and they work great together and charge pretty fast. Nowhere near as fast as DASH but that's fine.

Comes in at 34g on my scale. Small, light and 2.4A output.

Buy new charging cables. Buy a 5 pack from amazon. It's usually the tiny springs on the end of the cable that get pressed down or bent and so the charger doesn't stay connected.

Found a dual port charger through BPL thought it looked promising. Someone said it came to only 33g on their scale.

I'm using this cable and this charger and they work great.

I just picked up a 1000 last week, along with an after-market home charger+sync cable, and a second sync cable only (the latter intended for use with one of my existing bricks, for on-the-go). Home charger worked fine, but tried it today with the factory iPhone 5V/1A brick, and nada.

My other brick, however, is working fine:

So I can confirm that after-market bricks (at least this one) do work.

*edit: Maybe the OEM Sony cables are picky?

You could get a GG Thinlight to back up your XLite and use as your back pad. Here's a 33 g dual port charger. It looks like you may not have a scale? The BRS3000T weighs 1.0 oz. and the REI Minimalist mitts size large weigh 1.2 oz. on my scale. I think you may want to take some liner gloves or fleece mittens or gloves in addition. Should only weigh 1 to 2 oz.

Edit: You're missing a Mini Bic. 0.4 oz.

You won't likely find one that has only a single port, but this one from Aukey is basically the same as mine, but only has the 2 "smart" ports, no QC3.0 port.

followup - the one I use is this one - https://www.amazon.com/AUKEY-Dual-Travel-Charger-Adapter/dp/B00Q873I3K (ten bucks, two 2.4A ports). I also have their car charger that is also two ports. Work great.

I just took a look at my charger, and my bad, I was mistaken. I use an Aukey dual port 2.4A charger.

Edit: This one has good reviews (including the 6P) and seems to be 5V/3A.

Good planning. I spent the whole month before eating ice cream think that I would "lose weight on the trail". Bad plan.

Also, if you are going to get the larger portable charger, then I would also recommend getting a rechargeable headlamp. Also, a dual usb charger is worth it.

I know all of this stuff adds up so spend where you think gets you the most value.
