Have you never seen the remote start things for cars?

Gonna want this for just remote start or this for remote start and keyless entry. Prob gonna need an interface module, too, depending on the car.

Avital 4103 brought to you by DEI (same as Viper)

You've got an immobilizer, so you'll also need a bypass. (likely a DEI 556H)

I've got a few suggestions, mainly for the car.

Wireless Onboard Diagnostics

Android Compatible ($70)

iPhone Compatible ($100)

Remote Starter Kit (Sale: $47 Retail $200) Unless he knows how to install it, I'd advise having it installed professionally.

Car Jumpstart Kit With Air Compressor (Sale: $80 Retail $100)

Dull knives? Make 'em sharp! Knife Sharpener (Sale: $24 Retail: $40)

Finally, since a GoPro is too pricey, try a cheaper version, the Monoprice MHD Action Camera (Sale: $104 Retail: $200) Based on the reviews, it seems like it's perpetually on sale.

I may do more sleuthing, but that's what I got so far!

Hey cruise control guy here. My understanding is that the computer system is preloaded with all the required software for any OEM features and it should work like plug and play on your PC.

I have also had an Avital remote starter installed in the car which comes with keyless entry as a feature. I already had it as a feature, but the Avital allows me to lock it without the lights or horn going if I want to be stealth about it. Like when you don't trust someone near your car but don't want to be obvious about it.

Also congratulations on your new Soul!

Wow I really appreciate the response! I have recently been trying to install a remote start (Upstate New York you'll know why) and I got overwhelmed with it so its been sitting at my house. However its not an easy install like the kia one but it's a $100 cheaper heres the link AVital I want to install this but I dont have a big enough garage for my car so I'm stuck in 20 degree temperatures which makes giving up on it 10x faster haha.

I still think im going to go under the car though because it seems easier and i already bought the flex loom for under my car. What problems to you predict I will run into?

I installed this on a 93 Accord so I didn't have to deal with an immobilizer. If your car doesn't have an immobilizer it's a pretty simple install if you understand automotive wiring and can read a wiring diagram.

If you have a newer vehicle I would consult a professional unless you know what you are doing. You can do some serious and expensive damage if you make any mistakes.
