Behind the Hedges: Big Money and Power Politics at the University of Georgia is a great read. It deals with Michael Adams tenure as president and the very political and borderline corrupt way he ran the university. It talks about his very public feud with Vince Dooley over how to run the athletics program and it does so from a very objective, investigative standpoint.

AJC put up a link to the whole Delloite report when it came out in 2003. Basically it was a ton of little shit like making sure that his wife had a job (most president's wives volunteer when their husbands make 300k+) and not wanting to live in the mansion, etc, etc.

But the big one in my mind which only cemented my hatred for him was his son's law school graduation party. He billed it and received money from some committee which he directly reports to as a party for the whole law school at the mansion. Only he didn't invite the professors his son didn't like and only invited his friends.

He went on to have pretty outrageous bowl parties for tons of people all generously paid for and hardly ever scrutinized. The Report was pretty damning. The book about it has definitely been on my reading list.
