front jack will not receive a signal from your soundcard. I got this to workaround the same problem.
Sadly it's way too big and doesn't use RCA inputs/outputs.
I'm looking into doing one myself at this point because I've been looking for days. This is the closest I got but it's unavailable and loaded up the ass with features I don't need.
