Billion 7800N is supposed to be a brilliant ADSL router.

I have a Billion BiPac which currently has an uptime of 205 days. Very well ventilated and I put it under pretty considerable load every day. It's pretty big and not the sleekest device; though I think it has some kinda tough, asymmetrical charm.

I don't understand people who skimp on their router; this device is going to be serving all your other fancy devices and will be the bane of your existence if it's shit.

Well, the only recommendation I can make then is a new router. I'm not sure what your current setup is, but some routers are far better for places that are a fair distance from the exchange.

My recommendation would be a Billion - quite expensive, but definitely worth it in the long run. I'd recommend this one, available on Amazon for about £120. Should increase your speeds to be more in line with what's advertised.

Yes you can. It supports both Cable and ADSL connections. The ADSL modem is excellent and the Billion is on my ISP's recommended hardware list if you use your own router.

The Billion website lists resellers under the "Buy" section.

Amazon sell them:
