they sell this at target and most grocery stores. There are different varieties, but the oxy is probably what you want. if you can't find anything but the pee specific one, no worries it's 90% the same ingredients.
i have got up fresh blood, old blood, tar, red coolaid, poop, piss, coffee, sugary soda, etc. If you want it really cleaned up down to the mat, you have to get on it right away, but for carpet spotting and the like just spray it on and leave it.
What i would do is saturate it with this stuff, use towels to sop up as much of that as i could, spray it down again (not soak it again) and then leave it alone for a few hours.

Also, they shouldn't tear it up too bad. There wouldn't be any signs of physical damage to the carpet.
