A Bumper Bully if she has a car and will be living in the city.

All right, I'm glad you effectively admitted you are wrong by switching to attacking the city I live in instead of addressing the fact that you aren't supposed to drive around with the bumper cover on your car.

The best selling brand specifically states in their product description on Amazon That you aren't supposed to drive with their product on the car.

I'm done, but you can't deny you're wrong on this.

You're good. Of course, you could always park considerately but get one of these.

Well... It's common enough on the East coast they make a silly product to help protect against the effects. I saw em all over the place in NYC.

I've found a big trailer hitch does much the same job in the back, though. Granted, I drive a small pickup, so I can get away with a big trailer hitch. This may not fly on a nice sports coupe. You also can't really put a bull-bar on a sports coupe to protect the front.

It's a stupid thing to do. It's bad for all the cars involved, and it's rude to the other drivers. It's a sign the driver is unable to properly judge the positioning of their car, and it's completely absurd for them to get mad at you over their fuck-up. Stick to your guns, chew out people who hit other cars. If it's your car, ask for their insurance in case there's any damage. It may make the point stick.

If you’ve ever lived in a city, there’s a three bump rule as long as there is no damage. Everyone knows that. That’s why they make these.

I've noticed a fair number of cars with bumper protectors in Boston, NYC, and DC before while travelling. I haven't noticed them in the west coast or midwest as much, but that could be statistical noise.
