I'm talking about these: https://www.amazon.com/Black-Velcro-Front-Fringe-Stabilizer/dp/B004X80AQO they're actually pretty handy

It is to set on your hair to keep all the strands going a direction, my stylist uses it to part my hair properly for a cut.

Edit: Found an example

Sure, or you could reply here/make a new thread? I'm probably not the only one interested.

That sounds interesting, it means a person can keep it on when they go for lunch or whatever. One less thing to take off in those crowded chalets is a plus. I guess you could also cool off too when needed...

As for the hair part, I actually use some velcro things (something similar to this - http://www.amazon.com/Velcro-Fringe-Without-perfect-putting/dp/B004X80AQO) to keep hair out of my face sometimes when I'm washing my face.

As long as the velcro isn't super strong, it's good, and stays in place until I take it off to go out. It is perfect for hair because it's very gentle when you take it off your head. I'm not sure something like that would be also secure enough for what you're making though. Anything stronger + hair probably will means some snagging, but probably would be fine if the "hook" part isn't in a position that would touch hair.

These could also work, just to keep the front in place without making all of the hair too flat. https://www.amazon.com/Velcro-Fringe-Without-perfect-putting/dp/B004X80AQO
