I did find a relatively cheap rubber duck on amazon that has an orange tip, and has no trigger. Its currently listed for under 12 bucks and with amazon prime should arrive fast. Having never cosplayed before I do wonder the likely hood of it being allowed. It does look semi realistic except for the fact that it has a huge orange tip.
