I have 4 foot one. I’m going to get a cheap endoscope/borescope and use it with a magnet on the end (if it’s a metal object) or use my grabber. Hopefully this works. Thanks for the advice! Here is the endoscope

Overall it's worked but it's a PITA to get started. The App it uses is garbage and it's hit or miss if it will actually run on my phone (Pixel 2). Sometimes it freezes and I have to start the connection and everything over again. If the camera has sat for more than a week I have to recharge it before it will work. The camera will still turn on and it will connect to my phone, but it won't send any video.
Over all I'm pretty disappointed, I was hoping for something that was a little less hassle to use. It seems like I spend more time futzing with the thing to get it working than I do actually using it.

Pull the lid off? You mean to the septic? I bought a newly remodeled house and the septic is a little hard to get to, assuming that’s what you’re talking about. I think it’s legally supposed to be easily accessible.
You know if there is usually a filter between the toilet and the drain into the septic?
