I used clear hem snaps for it, because I needed a quick fix and I couldn't really sew it because of type of material it was made out of (lots of beading haha). These are very similar to what I used. I put the snaps on the inside so I would create an extra fold and snap the fabric back on itself, making sure the seam still looked clean on the outside. It's like creating a "hem" for my seams under my arms in order to take in my dress. There are other invisible options like regular hem tape, which you can get a roll of for a few dollars. And I'm sure if you got the snaps, and the adhesive ran out on them, you could re-use them with double-sided fabric tape, and the tape would function like a new adhesive, that way you don't have to keep re-purchasing the snaps.
