This Breville is what I own. Very durable, I have never had an issue and I highly recommend it. I believe it is the top rated juicer on Amazon.

I bought this a month ago and it's been good. If you make more than 30oz at a time it may not be best since pulp basket needs to be emptied after 30oz. Very easy to clean. I rinse the 3 parts and it takes less than a minute to clean. I put everything in it and it doesn't slow the motor down at all. http://www.amazon.com/Breville-BJE200XL-Fountain-700-Watt-Extractor/dp/B000MDHH06/ref=sr_1_1/182-9819861-5952403?ie=UTF8&qid=1426189324&sr=8-1&keywords=breville+700w+juicer

blending and juicing are different:

http://www.mindbodygreen.com/0-10183/juicing-vs-blending-infographic.html

With a ninja or magic bullet, you would be blending making smoothies not juice. If that's what you're going for these would work.

It sounds like though you want to juice since you reference juice cleanses. For that, you will need a juicer not a blender. With that said, there are 2 types of juicers: centrifugal (faster) & masticating (slower). Here is a good link that describes the differences:

What price range are you looking to stay in? If you have some time to shop around, you can look for some deals for a Breville juicer that has a really small model for $99.95 on Amazon:

I will say that although a lower priced juicer will save you money up front, it will end up costing you more money in the long run when it is not yielding as much juice from your produce and fruits.

I understand that it may not be feasible but we got a fairly decent deal on an Omega 8006 ($260) and the pulp is very dry and it is great with greens. I know if I shopped around a little more I could have found a better deal but wanted to get started on juicing right away so I would definitely recommend in researching what type of juicer would be the best fit for you and then looking around for the best deals. Macy's will often have 40% off juicers. Target, Best Buy, Kohl's, Bed Bath & Beyond all offer price matching and from my personal experience I have been able to price match and combine store coupons. For example if Best Buy is having a sale, I would take the ad to Kohl's and they would match the price and then I would use a 30% off Kohl's coupon so that is something you can look into too if you have some time to wait around for sales.

For under $100 this is your best bet:

But like others have said, spend a bit more and it'll pay off in the long run. I personally have an Omega NC800 that I purchased from Bed Bath and Beyond with a 20% off coupon for $263.99 & it includes a 15 year warranty. Additionally it'll produce a higher juice yield & higher quality juice on most things which saves me money on produce in the long run.

Most of the nutrients are in the juice, not the pulp (that's your fiber).

If you want none of the pulp removed, use a blender to make smoothies. If you want just a little pulp, use a juicer and mix in some of the ejected pulp (as juicers remove all pulp).

I'd recommend a Breville juicer, like this or this. They're probably the best centrifugal juicers available in your price range.

My juicer cup has a little plastic shield so that when I pour I don't get any of that debris. No sieving necessary! It's this juicer.

I have a 700 watt Breville. It works great in my experience. Once you get the hang of it cleanup becomes a breeze. My only issue is that it's rather loud. Oh, and it's advertised as mobile I think but it's really not--I don't think any juicers are, then again.

I have this one and I love it: Breville BJE200XL Compact Juice Fountain 700-Watt Juice Extractor. I chose it because at the time it had the most reviews on Amazon.

Thank you sir. Would you be willing to give any input on this juicer? I'm looking to spend around $100 and that one by far has the best reviews on Amazon, but of course there's also quite a few 1 and 2 star reviews that worry me. Any thoughts?

EDIT: Also I just bought a bunch of fresh spinach juice (before I realized how quickly it goes bad) that I can't drink until Monday. Would it be OK to freeze it in a Nalgene or is that going to destroy it's nutrients?

Yep, the juicer separates the pulp from the juice. I used a Breville Compact Juice Fountain last year for about 25 or so gallons of cider. This year I used Breville JE98XL for about 10 gallons. Both work equally well. I'm sure cheaper juicers work fine too.

I've found that I'm able to juice 5 gallons in one hour. The juicing disk and pulp have to be cleaned often or else efficiency goes down. Also cleaning gives the motor time to rest.

I got the same one for Christmas and am super happy with it. http://www.amazon.com/Breville-BJE200XL-700-Watt-Compact-Fountain/dp/B000MDHH06/ref=pd_sbs_k_4 It's very easy to clean, just rinse it out and put everything in the dishwasher.

I purchased THIS juicer for $99. That was my budget and I think it's quality for the price. If you can spare more I'd go with the same brand but a model higher that can hold more pulp. For inspiration and more info I recommend the documentary Fat, Sick & Nearly Dead, which is on Netflix Instantly. I saw it due to it being recommended here on Reddit so much. I also recommend you youtube "Dave the Raw Food Trucker" who beat cancer and diabetes and extreme obesity. He recently survived a heart attack. Very inspiring.

I'm new to juicing, so this is what I use for now. If you have an extra $50, you can also try this.

I juice celery. Usually whole bunches, but scraps work, too. Throw whatever random fruits / vegetables you have in a batch. It's always interesting, different, and healthy. Also, you can make vegetable broth if you don't want to drink it.
