If you have a hairy back, there are now grooming tools to easily reach your back. I'm just a hairy guy and have been. Hair on your chest is one thing, but the back is another. This is especially true when it gets hot out; shaving my back made me sweat a bit less back there. So, I used this one:

It's durable, easy to use, and comes with an assortment of extra blades. I suggest putting down a towel underneath you, as well as a paper towel in the sink to help catch hair.

It lasts quite a long time overall and definitely helps with the pits. My pits get bad - very bad. At work I wear a uniform with a light blue shirt, so it's totally obvious if my arms move upward. Lucky for me, my arms are pretty big (humblebrag), so it blocks it out when they're down. These roll on antiperspirants make the sweat minimal or nothing. Take notice, they may irritate the skin, especially when first using.
Use facial moisturizer. After every shower I take I use a simple facial moisturizer I got from CVS. It's made for men (that's probably just an advertisement thing) and smells a bit like musk and cocoa. A weird, but really good smell.
I haven't seen it here, but gloss. You'll thank me and yourself when you get a cleaning at the dentist and it isn't like you're being tortured... as much.

I have a hairy back, my wife used to have to shave it, a hand razor takes forever, clippers are faster but you have to use a razor after anyway or you still have stubble.
I ordered the thing above and not only is it much faster, but it's got a long enough handle that I can do it myself in front of the mirror (takes some practice and coordination)
But the best part is that you can do long sweeping passes and overall it's like 10-20x faster than using a regular razor.

It's like a back scratcher, you can use it dry or in the shower.
Some reported rusting of the screws, I sprayed mine with clear anti-rust, it has been in the shower since July with no issues.

If you're looking for a bladed back shaver - I'd recommend the Bro-Shaver. Terrible name, but it use three standard razors blades so it's very inexpensive to replace.
There is a learning curve in using - just like shaving your face but once you get it, shaving takes the same time as the electric
