I totally deal with this too, like I cringe when I touch towels. For me it's not softness- it's just cotton. Specifically if my hands are wet or damp. Or on my teeth. Watching other people chew on clothes makes me just about lose it. I literally have goosebumps and am cringing just writing this! I finally found some amazing towels I can use! Too lazy to link but they're called ...well fuck it, had to look them um to remember what they're called so I'll link. But they're a silky texture. I finally just admitted that it's a serious problem and I can do something to make it better so I found and am replacing textures that I encounter and CANT FU*KING HANDLE. Best of luck to you both!!
