My junk drawer was full of random cables. Even though they were neatly bundled (each), they're still all over the place. I ended up getting an organizer that is specifically made for cables. Since you have items larger than cables, maybe something like [this] (https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B014R4IGHS/ref=yo_pop_rec_s_3?ie=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B014R4IGHS&pd_rd_r=9c7a1d81-876c-4f1d-9965-8dec6156dfbb&pd_rd_w=pc03A&pd_rd_wg=dRiO4&psc=1&refRID=2BKCAWT7M5PH8TWQYM5G) might be useful. The key is you should be able to easily scan and find the item you are looking for without having to dig under a ton of stuff.

I am using this case for all my cables. The short 6" cables are stacked on one side, I can fit 24 and they look like this. The larger pockets I roll up the longer cables and put them in there. I also use the pockets to hold passive mults, tools, and misc. equipment.

Hi there! It is this case: BUBM Double Layer Electronic Accessories Organizer, Travel Gadget Carry Bag, Perfect Size Fit for iPad Mini (Medium, Black) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B014R4IGHS/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_vy27Ab8379FM3

There's plenty of recommendations for bags here, but what I found more useful, regardless of the bag, is a couple of these:

They come in a variety of sizes and models, not just the two seen on that page. They're amazing for organizing all those individual little connectors, cables, and dongles.

This is just an example. i have no idea if that individual one is a good buy. But there are hundreds of little electronics and cable cases on there that you can sort through and find one that fits the size and needs that you're after. Some of them are hard shell if you want to just toss it in with other things.

In general, I wrap all cables using the over, under method. It’s the best way to organize cables.

For personal use: I have a traveling cable bag. BUBM Double Layer Travel Gear... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B014R4IGHS?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

For office/home office: I use stackable bins that don’t have lids so I can reach in and grab the cable I need. I also label my bins with the type of cable. Ex. USB-C to DP or Cat6 cables.

I cut off the logo, it was just stitched on, and cut the stitching on one of the mesh pockets that was making it into two smaller pockets when I needed one bigger pocket to accommodate my battery pack. Other than that, it's perfect for what I use it for: cords, chargers, flashdrives, and a battery back. I keep it in my backpack.
