I think the best supplement you can take to help with lifting is creatine. It's cheap, the most studied supplement on the market, and beneficial for just about everyone. Terry Wahls talks about adding it to her diet as a way to put her MS in remission. It's good for your brain, muscles, hormones. I'll probably take creatine for the rest of my life. Examine.com has probably the most comprehensive page on creatine I've ever come across. Solid, straight forward info on it. Related, I just read a study where parkinson's patients took creatine for 2 years straight and had no adverse effects (some people are concerned with kidney function, because creatine raises blood creatinine levels, which can be a marker of kidney problems).

In some folks (like me), creatine also makes you look kinda fat, so if you start taking it and gain water weight (that's all it is), just don't worry about it :) Creatine causes your body to retain a lot more water in every cell, and basically makes me look like I've gained 5-10lbs. If I stop taking it for a week or two, I deflate back to normal.

If you don't want to go the creatine route, bulksupplements carries a ton of good supps. You could get caffeine powder, which will last a while, and add it pre-workout for energy and post-super-intense-workouts with carbs to help replenish glycogen. It could also potentially help with your weight loss goal, though probably not enough to make a big deal of. Also, I'd just recommend drinking coffee before your workout, because coffee has a lot of benefits and is a strong antioxidant.

BCAAs are good if you wanted to get some more. Citrulline malate is a good pre-workout, you could add it to BCAAs pre-workout. Read a study the other day that says fasted AM cardio was awesome for fat burning. You'll want to take some BCAAs before that to preserve lean muscle. If you wanted to try something like lean gains, BCAAs are a staple if you also exercise in the fasted state.

I might even get a big bag of cinnamon because cinnamon's awesome. Curcumin (turmeric extract) is good, too. You can eat both of these, and each has some pretty cool properties.
