Plenty of portable stand options. I've made turtle-dog stands using bamboo, made Madera style hammock stands using cheap pine 2X2s (just make sure you get the ground anchor done well, test this in advance). I've used my Jeep as one side of the hammock, and a stand on the other.
There's even the "one tree" stand that is nothing more than a 6' pole. I've done this countless times, and manage to amaze people all the time. The idea here is that you can secure one side of your hammock to a truck or tree or something that doesn't move, and anchor the other side down low, either to a bumper, or tree-stump, or park bench. Anything sturdy. Then, simply put a pole up on the low side to lift the end. The pole does not have to be anchored out, it can fee free to wobble and wiggle around.
The top of the pole, when your weight is on it, will tend to sway a foot or so back and forth with normal motion, and everyone will think it's about to fall over, but your weight will tend to keep it upright. Pushing it too far will often result in the base kicking out, but normal swinging and swaying won't do this, only aggressive movements. Try it!
