OP, this is a suitable crimper on amazon

These are suitable cable connectors on amazon

Youll see "pass through" connectors advertised on amazon and other retailers on amazon, I dont have experience with using them.

For RJ11 usage, most crimpers have an RJ11 slot and an RJ45 slot, the 45 wont fit into the 11 slot and the 11 would be damaged if you used it in the 45 slot. I think youre making this more complicated than it needs to be.

The jack should support the thickness of CAT6 or whatever wire you are using. For example:

https://www.amazon.com/Cable-Matters-100-Pack-Modular-Stranded/dp/B004D5RFCE

These support 23 to 28 AWG thickness, flat or round, and cost 12 cents each. Get the right stuff, and test it right away. It's why the guy who pulled the wire should have been the guy to terminate and test before you pay him.

I don't know what happens if the jack is "wrong". It's why I hate patch cables so much in this instance.

Edit: I'm trying to figure out wtf you are saying. But the cat 6 giving only 25Mbit is just weird. How are you testing these speeds?
