Yeah that is probably the most reasonable explanation. If you're having trouble getting to sleep, this stuff works pretty well for my wife and I. Sleepytime Tea

I like that tea a lot better than taking something like sleeping pills. It helps knock me out pretty well, and actually stay asleep throughout the night.

A fish eye ball. My dad's friend said if i ate one, he would too. So i did, but he didn't :( It was icky and just rolled around in my mouth. Because I'm an insomniac or this one

Any bedtime tea that has valerian as an ingredient. Valerian is no joke, one or two cups should do it. I once made a whole pot, as I do with other herbal teas, and ended up stumbling to bed. Here are some good teas that include it as an ingredient:

-David's Tea Mother's Little Helper: http://www.davidstea.com/organic-mother-s-little-helper?&TF=&DEID=#
-Celestial Seasonings Sleepytime Extra: http://amzn.com/B00CRAU3LM (got mine at Wal-Mart)

Sleepytime is my favorite tea. If you're lucky, you can even find Sleepytime Extra that includes Valerian Root. It helps with pain and relaxation so it gives that extra boost to sleep.

I had to work at 4 am for a month which meant waking up at 3. Which also meant having to go to bed somewhat early when my sleeping schedule was usually much later.

I bought some tea called Sleepy time tea and just drink that right before or even in bed and I would be out in no time. Plus it's all herbal.

Now I just meditate before bed and that gets me good and tired.

Early morning exercise and Sleepytime Tea at night helped me get some sleep.

To be honest, I would abstain from drinking until you are further along. I don't know what your frame of mind is right now but alcohol ruined many quits for me, although my mind wasn't in the right place to begin with. The 0mg nicotine idea seems OK, but if you are around people smoking, you will still be tempted. Your body wants nicotine until all traces are gone. For me, drinking always led to bargaining. "I can have just one.." It's bullshit though, just one is a myth.

I suffer horribly from insomnia every time I have "quit". I use Sleepytime Extra. It has valerian in it which is usually understood to help people fall asleep a little faster and stay asleep. It's not like taking an Ambien, it won't knock you out, but it's helped me through the tough four or five nights of brutal insomnia before my natural rhythm kicks back in. You might want to give it a try. I don't have much for the rest of your side effects, but I do know the sweaty palms is your body's way of getting rid of the THC and other cannabis related toxins stored in your fat. I'm sure it smells bad, too. Afaik, there's nothing you can do for that, besides wear gloves, but it's an important step and a good sign.

Keep it up. Withdrawl sucks, but it only lasts or week or so.

Not entering this contest but I still want to add my suggestions for your birthday gift.

It's all about atmosphere and ambiance. Creating a serene environment conducive to relaxation and reflection. It seems that you are a working mom, a wife and probably wear many more stressful hats in your life. That being said, picture this: dinner is cooked, little one's in bed the house is quiet and there you are in your favorite cozy spot wrapped with this Purple Plush Throw. Your cozy spot is lined with this super duper massage cushion and your feet resting on this shiatsu massager encased in these fluffy purple socks. On a nearby table you have the soothing aromatic scent of lavender emitting from this diffuser. Relaxed and soothed you find that you are a bit restless despite all your efforts, so out comes the coloring book. Using your 50 count pack of colors you sit and color for a while in blissful peace. Unwinding for a few moments and allowing the hustle and bustle of the day to pass away. Maybe you even indulge a bit with a cup of tea as you nosh on these delicious butter cookies. After your relaxing massages, your coloring session and bedtime snack, it is time to slip off to bed.

This is what I would give to you: the gift of moments spent each day exclusively designed to recharge, relax and refocus before the new day dawns. The day dawns and you are refreshed and ready to tackle all that may come.

My favorite tea is Celestial Seasonings Sleepytime because I like to have tea at night before I go to bed, but if it is caffeinated I can't get to sleep. It also tastes really good!

An item that I would like is this tea because I've been wanting to try it to see if it will help me relax after doing homework, but haven't got around to buying it.
