my wallet is attached to my keys (the little chums wallet is great and I highly recommend) so if I am taking my car I take it. If I am not taking my car I usually just take my credit card out of the wallet and take that with me along with my phone. If I'll need my ID with me for some reason I'll take that too, but not usually
