If you don't mind about 1mm of hair left, I love this trimmer. I have no hand-eye coordination, yet even I can do a really good job with it. As a horribly compulsive person I'd prefer no hair at all, but given the price and discomfort of waxing I'm cool with this.

For eye brows I love threading.

I had the same problem shaving with a wet razor. I highly recommend trying an electric razor made for intimate shaving, like this one they use in Japan. (You'd also want to get the trimmer, because the flat head shaver can only manage very short stubble.) I've been using them for a couple of years and couldn't be happier with the results. Baby smooth and no itchy bumps.

Seiko Clean Cut.

[You use this to trim it down](https://www.amazon.com/Cleancut-PS335-T-Shape-Personal-Shaver/dp/B00141DEAC/ref=sr_1_2_sspa

And this to get real smooth

For the pubic area, best setup is a combination of the Cleancut PS335 T-Shape Personal Shaver to get hair down to stubble length, and then the Cleancut ES412 Personal Shaver to get the rest. Looks like they are also available as a Combo Pack at a better price.

The PS335's blade is still a little bit exposed, so you still need to go slow and pay attention. The foil screen on the ES412 is very effective, and I don't think I've ever been nicked by it. A little talcum-powder or baby-powder helps it glide smoothly as well.

If he's diligent, after the initial pass only the ES412 is needed to keep it maintained. I'm lazy though, and almost always require both because the ES412 just isn't effective if there is any length on the hair at all. It has to be really short stubble for it to work.

I use this to start with. I'm a guy.

I have a trimmer I got off Amazon for like $20. It wasn't expensive, and it's literally impossible to cut yourself on which is fantastic since that is one area you do not want to nick. Two years later, still going strong. I have multiple girlfriends who have the same one and they also all swear by it. Edit: ok, it's more than $20 (I could've sworn it was less, maybe the price went up)

I've tried several similar ones; by far the best are these from Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00141DEAC/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1

OH.

Thanks :). Okay, if you have a minute - two other people have linked these 1 - this person said razor; and 2 she said trim but it's described on Amazon as shaving. You think with both those, they mean trim?

So I use this to do most of my shaving unless I'm about to laser myself and need to shave with a razor(I got one of the at home laser things, but I'm lazy about it). It's more of a very, very close trim than an actual close shave, it just kind of leaves the very short soft remnant of a hair so I don't have to deal with that spiky stubble I get after shaving. My skin is also extremely sensitive and it doesn't irritate my skin at all. I have very dark hair and relatively fair skin and you can't really tell it's not a close shave from a normal distance.

There are electric razors like this but I have found them a little uncomfortable to use in the past and didn't like the shave I got with them.
