I took off the stock drip tray because I wanted to weigh my shots, and the scale wouldn't fit well with a latte cup under it. I replaced it with a smaller steel one off of Amazon. There are some nicer ones I've seen that people have 3D printed if you have access to one near you.
The circle is just a button that Cat & Cloud threw in with one of my orders that I stuck on there with a magnet. =)
