looks to be same price on amazon as well: http://amzn.com/B00CD1FC6G

u/justformemes · 8 pointsr/OutOfTheLoop

K70 was first one I searched that I thought of for full sized. /r/MechanicalKeyboards/wiki/buying_guide has a nice price list to browse through.

u/akelis · 4 pointsr/MechanicalKeyboards

Just because... links. On Amazon:

  • Corsair K65, volume up/down buttons on top
  • Corsair K70, volume roller on top right-hand side (also comes with RGB backlights, but $$$ more.)
  • Corsair K95, volume roller on top right-hand side
u/TheWyzer · 3 pointsr/buildapcsales

Then get it, it is cheaper than the above keyboard, at least on Amazon, did not search other sites.

Don't get a laptop if you have that budget. Try getting a good keyboard and a mouse. I use Corsair Vengence K70 Red Switches and Razor Deathadder Chroma

Gaming PC's? Check. Road bikes? Check. Wet Shaving? I've always been interested, so check. Mechanical Keyboard? Check. Headphones? Why of course! Finally a place where people share like... all my interests xD!

Hmm, well, then it looks like you're going to be using cherry mx reds ;) Unless you're very handy with a soldering iron, then you will have to use reds. Don't worry though, they do feel very nice. And if you dont like it then you can return it and buy from amazon with cherry mx blues.

You can select what switch type you want.

u/chainer9999 · 3 pointsr/MechanicalKeyboards

Amazon link for the K70 with Blue switches.

Amazon link for the Quickfire Rapid, tenkeyless.

Those two might be interesting for ya, judging by your description.

u/Coreball_ · 2 pointsr/pcmasterrace

What do you mean? The gaming logo is only on the older edition of keyboard, if you look at the newer K70s and such it now has the ship and sails. Edit: Keyboard A and Keyboard B. And yes, I can only find it in non RGB at the moment.

u/swagglikerichie · 2 pointsr/MechanicalKeyboards

I have the Corsair K70 with Cherry MX Red keys. I wanna get keycaps but am a complete noob, and my concern is that I get some keycaps and they won't feel exactly the same as the OEM caps on here.

Is that a worry that I should not have? Will every keycap I get have the exact same feel on the key-stroke

u/jkO_- · 2 pointsr/pcmasterrace

I just bought the old logo version like earlier in the month for $115 on amazon. http://i.imgur.com/MI0F7q1.png

It's still being sold but for $130 now but if you keep watching you can prob catch some nice price drops.

Hey, if you're still welcoming suggestions, I recently got a Corsair K70 off Amazon and I love it! Personally I think the full size keyboard is a bit large for my liking, but if you'd like a full size keyboard, then check it out.

It comes in MX Browns too!

u/CMNDR · 2 pointsr/MechanicalKeyboards

The Ducky Shine 3 should come with a green or red backlight. (currently out of stock at mechanicalkeyboards.com though.)
http://www.duckychannel.com.tw/en/Shine_3_DK9008.html

The K70 has a red backlight with blue switches. http://www.amazon.com/Corsair-Vengeance-Mechanical-Gaming-Keyboard/dp/B00CD1FC6G

I ended up going with MX Greens just because I liked them better than the blues, so I don't have them personally, but I think they're both pretty good looking boards.

u/shinoa93 · 2 pointsr/MechanicalKeyboards

Nah I know I'm only really in urgent need of one because I've got a few tournaments coming up and I carelessly spilled coke over my old lycosa, it's a nightmare to play with at the moment.

That being said I can just play them at my local gaming cafe.

To be honest I was considering ordering it from a US retailer

http://www.amazon.com/Corsair-Vengeance-Mechanical-Gaming-Keyboard/dp/B00CD1FC6G

With 2-4day shipping and customs fees it only works out at <£10 more expensive than the only UK pre-orders that I've seen.

Looks like a Corsair Vengeance K70 Mechanical Gaming Keyboard Although there are a few differences I notice. Key lights aren't red is the main one, but the might make different models.

u/Seanapa · 2 pointsr/pcmasterrace

£150gbp = $230 USD.

That is a huge budget for M/K. I think your parts may be more expensive than in the US, though :/

Keyboard: The Corsair K90 is a complete bad-ass keyboard.

$129 USD ... So just about 57% of your budget? Roughly?

Mouse: Logitech Proteus Core

Or ... Zowie FK1 A lot of pro gamers like this mouse. It is also cheaper than the Logitech, so both are good options.

At $70-$80USD, that will take away the rest of the budget.

There are similar versions of both for cheaper. Any Corsair Mechanical boards are highly recommended. I have the K65. Not one problem in over a year.

u/Valthiren · 2 pointsr/buildmeapc

One advice I have for you:

If you're going for such a huge budget build and want to go all out, get a mechanical keyboard and don't get "gaming" headsets. In most of those, the audio quality is usually far worse than you'd be able to get by getting a mic + headphones.

For keyboard, I recommend something along the lines of Corsair K70 or its big brother Corsair K95. Keep in mind there are RGB versions of these keyboards, so if you're into flashy colorful stuff, you have that option as well (At a higher pricetag though).

For Mic + Headphones, I recommend Audio Technica AT2020 USB and Audio Technica ATH-M50.

Good luck with your build!

Cheers!

u/cwa987 · 2 pointsr/computers

That will blow the Xbox one and ps4 out of the water, the only thing that comes close is the RAM and unless you are running a server you don't need to waste money on any more that 8GB. Overall solid build.

Buy a nice keyboard and mouse, you will be happy you did, here are some of my favs:

Das Keyboards are quite good specifically the Das Keyboard 4 Ultimate or the Das Keyboard 4 Professional. You can buy them with Cherry MX Brown, which are quite quiet in comparison with the Cherry MX Blue. The thing that these two keyboards don't have, for you, is the backlighting. Sorry. They're also on the more expensive side, around $165-170.

You can also buy the Corsair Vengeance K70, you can either buy them with MX Browns or MX Reds, both of them are non-clicky. This keyboard fits your specifications. The backlighting is red, not sure if you would like it. It costs around $115.

u/Woe1988 · 2 pointsr/makemychoice

I recommend mechanical keyboards to people whenever it comes up. I have the Corsair K70 and love it. http://www.amazon.com/Corsair-Vengeance-Mechanical-Gaming-Keyboard/dp/B00CD1FC6G The K70 uses black switches, which is the kind that I enjoy.

Do your research on which switch you think you would like. Watch this video for the crash course. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hUN93Xz-7pg

I currently use a K60 Keyboard from Corsair and G500 from Logitech and absolutely love them! Right now I think you can get these from amazon for $150 total. Although I love this keyboard I would recommend the new K70 which is only $30 more

Corsair K70 -$130

Corsair K60 - $100

Logitech G500 - $50

u/edlyncher · 1 pointr/pcmasterrace

That's..... a really weird keyboard, haha. Anyways, I suggest the Corsair K70 since it's mechanical and has the media keys, red backlight, etc. Head over to /r/mechanicalkeyboards if you're interested. Obviously though, not everyone has $150 to drop on a keyboard, so if a mechanical keyboard isn't your thing a Perixx PX-1100 has everything you need and seems to be well-reviewed, but is not mechanical.

Do you mean you want noise? Or nah. If so I'd go with the blue switches for progamming/typing . The upgrade to mechanical keyboards is a whole new world coming from rubber domes. ALSO if you do not want super load awesome tactile feedback shutters keyboards then check out this video and see if anything catches you ears as to be quiet enough for you to handle

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lFkl1Vet1eU

The o-rings dampen sound quite a bit and just find a keyboard with your preferred type of key switches and o-rings or check out the new MX cherry silents they are about at loud as a rubber dome keyboard

u/ifyouonlyknew1 · 1 pointr/computers

Most keyboards that record macros, are gaming related. There are not many who do things other than that.

This is a great, reliable, strong keyboard without any crazy keys. Has a nice LED feature, Cherry MX switches and is spill resistant. Great stroke feel.

http://www.amazon.com/Corsair-Vengeance-Mechanical-Gaming-Keyboard/dp/B00CD1FC6G/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1420782915&sr=8-1&keywords=Corsair+Gaming+Keyboard

u/nicolass1101 · 1 pointr/pcmasterrace

So for some reason mech keyboard prices have come up quite a bit.. Umm if you were willing to spend $29 more on one, this would be great.. if not, then go for the Razer one.. I personally dislike their copy of the brown switch but have never tested the blue copy of the switch

u/Sololegends · 1 pointr/pcmasterrace

I really like the Corsair M65 when it comes to mice and, well, the Corsair K70 when it comes to key boards. Both built very well. The mouse I still own and man it feels solid, a tough cable and pretty great software to go along with it.

u/evilHamsterzZz · 1 pointr/pcmasterrace

I have the Corsair K70 [non RGB] with Cherry MX red switches. If I were you I'd get a K70. My friend has the Razer Blackwidow with the custom Razer green switches. He loves it.

Before you buy a mechanical keyboard tho. You really need to try out each switch. You could either buy one of these to test it out, or you can go to a local computer store that has keyboards on show.
If you end up buying a mechanical keyboard without testing the switches out first. You may end up hating your keyboard.
Most people like the MX blues [the clicky ones].

I like the MX reds though because you can't feel a bump when you push down a key, and because they are pretty quiet [unless you bash your keyboard]

There are lots of mechanical keyboards on the market. You could go all out and get a Ducky keyboard or get a pretty cheap one like this one

If you want macros then you can go for a Corsair K95 which has 18 macro keys. If you want less macros then you can go for the Logitech G710+ which has 6 macros.

Just remember to try out each MX switch, and you should be good.

u/Miss_fortune · 1 pointr/MechanicalKeyboards

right forgot about that... well here's the old logo'd red switch k70 on amazon, i'd search for the old corsair reference number, you may be able to use that to find em cheaper on other sites.

u/MrHoeZey · 1 pointr/pcmasterrace

First you should know what kind of keys you'd want on your keyboard. Most popular being reds, browns, blues, and greens. here's a good guide

From there you will want to look at the manufactures. Good manufactures would be the CM Storm Tenkeyless from Coolermaster
and the Corsair Vengeance K70 from Corsair. There's way more and the manufacturing should be based on your opinion and looking at reviews.

This is something i would recommend. It starts you off with enough power to be able to stream with plenty of room to upgrade if you wish. You can swap out the i5 for an i7 if plan on rendering videos to YouTube. Also you could decide to get Nvidia 780TI if you prefer it over AMD. As well as add in an SSD. Operating system i did not include on here i do not what you would want(windows 7 and or 8.1 or even Linux).

Building up a PC is actually very cheap. Also some add ons if you do not already own them. (please feel free to check other sites to see if you can get it cheaper)

I use a[ Corsair K70](http://www.amazon.com/Corsair-Vengeance-Mechanical-Gaming-Keyboard/dp/B00CD1FC6G/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1406393382&sr=8-1&keywords=corsair+k70) with Reds and o-rings, plus a CM Inferno mouse. Fits your budget for the pair.

The keyboard is amazing, with the backlighting and solid construction. The mouse is wired, which I kinda like since I don't worry about batteries, has onboard profiles that can be switched on the fly, DPI adjustment on the fly, and I really like the button layout with the two on the front shoulders. My only gripe is that it's a bit light for me, after using my wireless Performance MX which I still use for all non-gaming stuff.

EDIT: fixed links.

u/ieya404 · 1 pointr/unitedkingdom

Sure, though that example link was from Amazon UK :)

If you try searching for that code on Amazon.com, you get matched to Corsair Vengeance K70 Mechanical Gaming Keyboard - Black Cherry MX Red (CH-9000011-NA) ... which is $112.99. Add $7.07 for a two year warranty.

So on the one hand, we do get pooched on the price; on the other, we do at least get a proper sized enter key. :)

Here I am saying I don't want to upgrade my mouse since it still works and I just bought a $500 1440p/120 hz monitor to use alongside my old Samsung 1080p/60hz monitor I've had for 4 years.

But yeah, I built two builds, one for my brother, one for my father, and I picked the Microsoft SIDEWINDER for my brother because he's cheap, and a Corsair Vengeance K70 for my father, since he wanted a more expensive rig. Once I upgrade my keyboard I'm probably going to be looking at stuff like the Ducky Shine 3 to replace it.

u/virginpresident · 1 pointr/MechanicalKeyboards

Looking to upgrade from my current Rosewill RK-9000RE for several reasons. I am hunting for a new one, and below are some reqs I'm looking for when buying it.

Price: Max $130
Switch: Cherry MX Reds
Mechanical: Yes (obv)
Interface: Preferably PS/2
N-Key: would prefer unlimted N-key rollover capability, if not, then at least 6-keys
Cable: Wired or wireless, doesn't matter
LED: not needed
10keyless: prefer full keyboard
Macro keys: no needed

I'm currently looking at the following 3, but am definitely in the room for suggestions

CM Storm Quickfire TK

Corsair Vengeance K70
And another K70 with diff model but cheaper?

I understand there's another sticky for this, but I figured why not. If I don't get help, I'll just re-locate to the other sticky tomorrow. I'm at my computer now and just remembered to post.

Hey guys!! Im new too the whole mechanical keyboard thing, and im looking too pick one up for my birthday! But anyway, at the moment i have a steel series Logitech apex raw ( I will link at the end of this) And im pretty sure its rubber domes. I really like the bulkyness of the keyboard, and the wrist rest, so i was looking into getting a corsair veng k70, but i also LOVE the look of the ducky shine 3. The only problem is, will it be really hard not only going too a smaller layout keyboard, and switches? This keyboard is for gaming mostly, but I do type occasionally (facebook messages, ingame, sometimes school work) I know corsairs are gaming keyboards, but what makes them different from a ducky shine 3 with red switches? Also, are red switches the best too game on, even coming from rubber domes?

Is it true that you can clean the hair easier? What about going for a generic gaming brand like corsair, razr, etc (something like this https://www.amazon.com/Corsair-Vengeance-Mechanical-Gaming-Keyboard/dp/B00CD1FC6G). Why are these not popular in this subreddit?
