Not OP, but I use Nextbase 312w that has GPS tracking (coordinates), speed, your reg (if you put it in) etc. and is 1080p. Very good for not too expensive. There are better models but in my opinion the price didn't justify it.

One of the main things you want in a dashcam is a GPS sensor, this will log your drive and also show your speed on the recording.
I was given a nextbase 312gw as a gift and it's been faultless. It was a "which" best buy and has GPS/WiFi and a magnetic mount so easily detachable when parked up etc.
Has nice features like the screen turns off while driving so it didn't distract you etc.
