I use 3 of these in my apartment, holding 2 road bikes and a commuter. They're raised/offset to ensure handlebars don't hit each other and can get bikes closer together. I liked this hook because it's cheap and has a tire "bump" to keep from scuffing walls.

I've been storing my bike with wall hooks for almost three years and the rims are as true as day one. As long as the bike doesn't weigh a ton you should be fine.

How about a stand like this one?. If you go on /r/bicycling someone just shared theirs and it looks great. With tall ceilings you could even get three bikes on there, with the least used one up top but other two easily accessible.

Another option is something like these which would still keep them easy to access but out of the way.

Edit:I realise your ceilings are probably too tall for the first link but they also sell the same concept that you can kinda mount to the wall on one end, rather than relying on ceiling.

I have to imagine that they're almost all certainly not worth the money. Even giving them the benefit of the doubt, they're probably highlighting only those "successes" which may very well have succeeded without them and ignoring the campaigns that failed even with them -- it's easy to blame the creators for failure and take credit for the success.

If you want some unsolicited advice, I can see a few things that are going to hurt your campaign:

1. Whatever you did early with your early bird tiers has made for a maze of options. That's almost certainly hurting new backers as they're trying to sort out which tier to pick.
   
2. You're probably getting a lot of people who think ~$70 is reasonable, but are hit with $100 once shipping is in.
   
3. This is your first campaign and little track record. I couldn't tell if lea.bike is your company, but the top result is the KS and not your company page. That, in and of itself, might scare folks off.
   
4. That is a really fast delivery estimate. It's already February, you have 17 days left to go, and you're saying delivery in July. Note that you also say August later in the campaign. If you're funding a manufacturing run, I'd be curious how you're doing it that quickly.

If you want to save space you might want to hang it on a bike hook. I've recently installed this bike hook . I've hung my bike on the back wheel, removed front wheel with the handle bars flat against the wall it takes up less space. Here is my setup . You will have to physicaly lift the bike to hang it or take it down, so you should take that into consideration, not sure how strong you are :)

I get that this might have a few bikes that might not work, but I've had all kinds of different bikes on these things, and it works great. far less than $125.

No complaints, although I probably could've just used a more simple hook and saved some money.

I recently installed this rack in our living room to hang my girlfriend's road bike. It's held up like a champ, and was easy to install, requiring only two screws and 5 minutes. It should clear fenders perfectly fine, but wide tires could be an issue.

I have two bikes hanging from these wall mounts on my <500sqft apartment. I made sure to mount the 30 lb steel commuter into a stud. The carbon race bike is mounted to screw-in drywall anchors and it's been fine for over a year.

These are the Da Vinci hooks they struck me as the most inexpensive and aesthetically clean way to hang lots of bikes in a small space. They are rated for 40lbs, but one of those bikes pictured weighs over 60lbs and the hook still felt solid. I also used 3" course decking screws into the studs for the hangers and used the supplied screws for the trays. The bikes fit great on the 16" wall studs spacing.

I've been using this , You can put flattened-out cardboard from a sixpack or case of beer between the mount and the wall to prevent tiremarks and also for bonus hipster points.

I used these wall-mounted hangers when I was in a small apartment. They held three bikes pretty well. Here they are, there's a pretty wide assortment of tires reepresented here (26x2.3, 29x2.4, 27.5x2.8), my LBS uses them for storing a crapload of bikes in one of their back rooms.

The nipplers are the inverted style, similar to those on Enve rims ( https://nsmb.com/media/images/ENVE_Spoke_Holes.original.jpg ) and do indeed load against the backside of the aero shape of the rim.

I do agree with not hanging most carbon rims from typical metal hooks in general and I wouldn't dispute that - it's a very high load against a concentrated area. Also, a typical vinyl coated garage hook like you'd get at Home Depot has a pretty tight curve in the hooked end that can make it tough to get a deeper wheel onto the hook. Also, the tip of the hook can press directly into the side of the rim as you hang/unhang a bike from it, which can definitely cause damage to a carbon rim. Is it okay to store a bicycle vertically? I just bought a Giant Toughroad and the manual says I should not store it vertically.
