You could always get something like this or a similar symmetrical gaming keypad to use for gaming. Then you could have WASD and all the hotkeys you need where your right hand comfortably sits, and use the mouse on your left.

so, i found this one by accident the other day when i was browsing "naga hex" replacements... it's not one of the big 12 button mice, but i could never use those comfortably because it felt like button gloat, and my thumb would always misclick when i'd move the mouse, so this was more what i would use: Anker High Precision Gaming Mouse

seems like it has good reviews, and looks small and comfortable. and for only 20 bucks, it's worth a try. i might actually get one as a backup next paycheck cuz i really like the button layout.

EDIT 2: if there's not enough buttons on the mouse , i found this gamepad that isn't specifically right handed, but it looks like it's balanced enough it could be ambidextrous, and it's under 30! I use a sort of keyboard "extension" which is basically the WASD keys with the keys near those, also the space bar plus some other cool stuff. I'll try to find it.

Hello fellow lefty. As I am sure you already know the gaming industry always has, and always will, hate us. The best we can typically hope for are ambidextrous tools, though I hear one of the Thrustmasters is reversible.

The stick I use is very basic but suits all of my needs, and is also plug-n-play which is a bonus for me because I just lost usage of my favorite usb gamepad after over 10 years of faithful service due to abandoned driver support.

Unfortunately when it comes to throttles I have yet to find any that are ambi, so I use another usb peripheral for my right hand that is also plug-n-play. Like some one else suggested you could use two sticks, but I find that limiting actually.

Dumb question but can you still use your fingers on your broken arm?

Its glorious... no remapping, for any games yet. If you fancy yourself a gamepad user there is a premapped setup for a 360 controller somewhere on the net. I lost the link (looking) but its a proper left handed setup.

btwI highly recommend using this game pad It allows me to have way more buttons near my left had and if you look closely at my UI setup keybind I have it set up with this gamepad in mind

They're quite a bit cheaper on amazon and they are pretty rugged, so I might even consider a used one off ebay, unlike a lot of these type of peripherals.

Edit: Just saw this alternative. Significantly cheaper, no idea on quality though.

Fellow lefty here. My advice to you and other lefties would be to get yourself a left handed mouse and the keyboard linked below. It isn't the coolest looking keypad, but it has space bars on both sides of the keypad and you can't get that from any other design. (Yet)

Only issue with it is that the key to swap ur wasd to directional buttons is easily hit on mistake and can ruin a game for you. Luckily it button pops out and back in easily. I take it out anytime I'm doing serious gaming.

to map the keys to really obscure combinations. I use the F1-F6 keys to select global pallets/functions that run scripts to change the mode the computer is in/update the remapper. Then each app I have keyboard shortcuts I want to use or functions/scripts I want it to run I have mapped to the board. It works great and runs globally in any application.

Keep in mind that there are more than just this one on the market as well.

Good to know, I honestly had no idea what a game pad I'd only seen in control menus before. I'm using the Aula Befire (I know it's not great, I've only had this computer for a year or so and I'm young, so this was a keyboard I got as a kind-of temporary one) and the one handed keyboard I use is the Delux T9. They're both not great, but they'll do. This glitch only happens every couple months or so, and I wouldn't be surprised if it were the game itself as that's the only place it seems to happen, can't say for sure though.

Scratch my above comment,I have this gaming keypad that is like half a keyboard with an incredible wrist wrest, I would recommend it as long as you have a full keyboard already to go with it. Its backlit and just feels incredibly comfortable to game on, I would rather use it than any other keyboard I have ever tried

(All links are Amazon) These are things not everyone thinks of, but I really love having as part of my setup.
If it appeals to you, you could ask for a gaming keypad/gameboard whatever you want to call it. The famous ones are made by Razer and Logitech but I got a 20$ one that I love. Gives me so much room on my mousepad and is very comfortable to use.

Another good one is a mouse bungee. A popular one would be the Zowie Camade, but there are cheaper ones as well. I have one that is also a USB hub.

Have you pondered looking into keyboard devices similar to a Nostromo?

Most of them seem to be intended for left hand use, but some, such as this one from Delux seem as they may work well for a WASD cluster that you can use with your right hand.

I am a lefty too and VERY lefty as in, I really cannot get used to doing things the right handed way like some lefties can. I feel your pain. Not many gaming companies cater to us.

It's not a keyboard and I am not sure if you know but Razer does a left handed version of their Naga mouse which has 12 buttons on the side that you tap with your thumb and can be set to anything of your choice. This is a complete lifesaver and the options are endless for what you can bind to them.
