Plus, if it was determined that DHA supplementation was necessary, there are vegan DHA supplements (fish get it from algae and so can we!).

This is really the only concern. I take a multivitamin and an Omega-3 supplement every day. As long as you're eating a good variety of foods, you shouldn't have anything to worry about besides B12.
