The Claire Dexflex Scrunch flats. Also sold at Payless. You can't kill them. They don't die. I wear them basically from the time the winter boots come off and I can get away with not wearing socks, until the next winter boots season. One pair usually lasts me two summers of almost non-stop wear. They're cheap, comfortable, and they do not die.

I got these from Amazon and love them! Very comfortable and seem to be holding up very well.
