I don't think the Last Great Time War should ever be shown. It's better left to the imagination. That said, here are some good ways to get your Paul McGann fix:
Have fun! :)
I highly recommend The Forgotten. It has mini adventures for doctors 1-9 and ten is the main character.
This spread from DW: The Forgotten addresses this. From L to R: The first is represented by his cane, the second his recorder, the third by the keys to Bessie (his car), the fourth by a bag of jelly babies, the fifth by a cricket ball, the sixth by his golden cat brooch, the seventh by his question mark umbrella, the eighth by his cravat, and the ninth by his psychic paper. Personally, for the remainder I'd choose ten's glasses (his regular "smarty specs", not the 3-D ones) to represent the tenth, a bow tie for the eleventh, and the bandolier for the War Doctor.
They're seperate and I highly recommend the The Forgotten. The Tenth Doctor wakes up in a museum dedicated to him and he has lost his memories of his past incarnations. As he goes through the museum, he sees things that trigger old memories so you basically get a mini story of each Doctor. It's great.
