Soft Paws are awesome. We have a cat with talons who can get feisty and Soft Paws are fun when he goes to swat or knead you and you feel nothing but a tap or light massage. Since he is so feisty, we are at risk of bites and scratches when trying to manicure him, so we bought this and team up. Muzzle first to disarm nnd prevent bites, then one person holds the bag of cat while the other manicures. Cat hates it, but is fine afterwards and gets treats and love immediately afterward.
I got this cat bag with a muzzle. She is tall and long and I have scars all over from bites and scratches. I (gently and with love) shiver her in the bag and zip her up. Then I can unzip and remove one paw at a time for trimming.

I love the idea in OP but that would turn my kitty into a hanging twirling blade of death. Like a ceiling fan with Edward Scissorhands blades at eye level.
Dexter will let me trim his nails. Pixel needs to go in the kitty straightjacket to even have a chance of clipping more than 1 nail. She let me play with her paws as a kitten and I can even play with them as an adult. But as soon as the nail clippers come out she turns into a hellspawn. I've never even cut her to the quick, she just hates being groomed. She even hates being brushed. She'll tolerate a few brush stroked and then it's time to kill the brush.
