Context: This whole kit is $44, buying it won't make me a great tattoo artist, especially when real tattoo machines cost $300-500, but moreover because having the equipment doesn't replace the time and knowledge of a learned skill.

I'm a laser tech (and business owner), I can't tell you how many at-home solutions I've seen people try who come into my office with scarred skin.

>can anyone provide insight into buying a laser and training myself?

I do business consulting, if this is seriously something you want to get into send me a private message, but be aware my 1-day consulting fee is more than the cost of that Chinese laser you've referenced and you need to have access to at least six figures in liquid assets. You'll burn through at least $60k in the first 12 months just for rent / lease, insurance, electric, internet and security, haven't even touched on the machine payments yet...

My suggestion, find a qualified clinic and have them do the work.
