Very happy to report this recipe is FABULOUS!!!
I may tweak it, but not right away. I am coming off a nasty flu. The single side effect - that I noticed - was a small amount of nasal stuffiness. And I am a bit run down today. But both might be the flu and I had to labor in muddy conditions for about 3 hours earlier today. So I'll see how I proceed. But, for now, tonight? I can't wait to get these back to my nose.
The high was amazing. Compared to my long running love affair with Isopropyl. Isobutly are soooooooooo smooth. No burn like Isopropyl. And they last longer in this manner: no rush, they creep up on me and linger for awhile then mellow and fade out. NICE!
Now, to answer Heyyouyeahyou55 questions: Please note; I have not purchased poppers since 1990s or before. So I cannot compare to store bought products. I feel store bought are unreliable, dangerous and way-too expensive. I use battery acid. I am no chemist so whatever HCI is???? I purchase my ingredients at amazon.

Follow my and JimOakey's mixing instructions. You should get appox. 55 ml within 6 minutes per batch. Often I end up with 25 with isoproply. You will get around 100 batches per 2 pound container of nitrite. So for about $60 you'll get appox. 4,000 ml of poppers. That's about 160 large bottles. See why I make my own?
